Reflexión#10
La tecnología es una herramienta muy valiosa, los estudios con los celulares, twitter y los blogs, evidencian el impacto de la era digital en la sociedad moderna. Los juegos en líneas, los marcadores sociales y los mundos virtuales, son un ejemplo del carácter cooperativo que la tecnología esta desarrollando. Al comunicarnos por estos medios, no solo podemos desarrollar o mejorar nuestras habilidades de comunicación en la lengua meta, sino que también realizamos un intercambio cultural, donde los participantes o integrantes de determina grupo intercambian sus ideas y opiniones con respecto a determinado tema; promoviendo la reflexión y la construcción de conceptos en conjunto. Creo que la herramientas tecnológicas deben ser integradas poco a poco en el sistema educativo, y que debe aprovecharse su popularidad entre la nuevas generaciones para promover el aprendizaje de nuevos conocimientos y destrezas.

Reflxión#9
Fue muy divertido usar los chats con audio. A pesar de que en nuestro foro no pudimos comunicarnos todos a la vez, me pareció una herramienta muy útil para dar clases o presentaciones en-línea, creo que es necesario ser muy ordenado al utilizar esta herramienta, para que todos los estudiantes puedan participar. Por otra parte, e colocar el chat en el blog, me pareció muy útil, ya que nos podemos comunicar de una manera más rápida e innovadora con nuestros estudiantes, profesores y compañeros de clases. Finalmente, me pareció muy interesante conocer un poco más sobre la comunicación sincrónica y asincrónica. Creo que ambas son muy funcionales a la hora de enseñar y que ambas facilitan la comunicación entre profesores y alumnos. Me agrada la idea de comunicarme de forma sincrónica con mis estudiantes, creo que es importante responder a sus inquietudes y dudas al momento.

2. ¿Qué razones, piensas tú, tienen las personas para inmigrar? What causes people to immigrate?

Watch the following video "El otro lado de la inmigración"
After watching the video, answer the following questions (you can use English, Spanglish or Spanish for your answers):
1. ¿Qué piensas acerca de la inmigración ilegal? what do you think about illegal immigration?
2. Nombra tres causas que promueven la inmigración. Name at least three causes that causes illegal immigration
To answer the questions, go to the following program: Vocaroo
When recording your answers, make sure your microphone is working properly. You will have the chance to listen to your answers before sending them to your teacher.

Reflexión#8
Esta semana trabajamos con la inclusión de la gramática y el uso de la tecnología en las aulas. Diversos estudios han demostrado que el uso de la tecnología ayuda a adquirir y reforzar estructuras gramaticales. Aparentemente el uso del computador hace la experiencia de aprendizaje más significativa por la variedad de estímulos e insumos que este provee. Asimismo, favorece el trabajo en equipo y la auto y co-evaluación. Programas como letter pop, los blogs y otros, permiten a los estudiantes practicar su habilidades gramaticales y estar más concientes de sus producciones escritas. Aprendiendo, practicando y disfrutando a la misma vez. En la clase cuando usamos letterpop fue muy divertido porque pudimos crear una "news letter". Fue muy interesante, creo que este tipo de actividades promueve la creatividad y los estudiantes pueden escribir sobre temas de su interés.
